Privacy statement and data protection

1. Data protection

1.1 Data protection ist very important to BOXS AG.

BOXS AG will only collect, store and process the personal date of the user where necessary in order to render the contractual services or where permitted/required under the relevant data protection by laws. BOXS AG will treat personal data as confidential and in line with the provisions of the applicable data protection laws and will only disclose personal data to third parties in so far as necessary in order to fulfil its contractual duties.

1.2 When users visit the and read the newsletter, BOXS AG is able to automatically gather additional information that makes it possible for BOXS AG to determine how users make use of the and the newsletter, and to see which information and offers attract the most interest (see 2.1 Tracking data).

1.3 Data processing by BOXS AG or third parties is carried out on the one hand to provide the requested services, on the other hand it serves BOXS AG to analyse the demand behaviour on the basis of aggregated and anonymised data and to further develop according to the users' needs.

1.4  By accessing the following technical usage data is automatically transmitted to BOXS AG:

  • the referrer URL, i.e. the website called up by the user before visiting, if it links to

  • the browser used by the user and the operating system used, if this is also transmitted by the browser;

  • the IP address of the user.

2. Tracking data

2.1 For site optimization and statistical purposes BOXS AG collects so-called tracking data, which provide information about the surfing behavior of users. Such tracking data does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about individual users.

2.2 uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies" (see section 3.1). The information generated by the cookie about the use of (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. BOXS AG has activated IP anonymization. The IP addresses of users collected on are therefore generally shortened by Google in Europe before being forwarded to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the use of, compiling reports on the activities carried out on for BOXS AG and providing other associated services. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate the user's IP address with any other data held by Google.
